displaying speed and momentum

Hi all, I have been playing around with max now for about 2 weeks and am interested in analysing and manipulating videos.

I have created a patch to generate 3D forms from a video input. I have set the video as the control for the matrix. I believe the 3D form is generating shapes respondent of the colours displayed in the video. This is all well and good but I specifically want to look at the speed, movement and density within the video, does anyone have any ideas of what I can use to try and analyse and display this information?

Here is a print screen of what I have set up now:

Cheers

Hi I have already done some work with cv.jit, here is a print screen of a patch I have set up. Is there any way of combining my 3D geometry with the cv.jit readings? Is there anything else I can set up to help analyse speed movement or density?

Cheers
