hey, i have a patch calculating the distance between the mouse and a grid of planes in a 3x3 grid.

i then scale the absolute distance (in world cords) to (0. - 1.) range but...

i need exponential control over the number.

currently even far cubes still show a bit of value.

to paraphrase, im looking to control the decay of the value.

im not getting enough love from the scale 5th memeber.

Hello, I looked at your patch, and the first thing that I noticed is that your center data in the coll file is wrong - which means that all your distance calculations are incorrect.

for some reason i figured the planes are generated from center// not so..

whats the way to calc the centers? based on content of [P generatedCubes] subpatch.

i check via the jit.gl.sketch screentoworld values, the centers are valid.

planes are sketched from center, cmdlist ftw.

checked again, now sketch is between -1 1, before it was -3 3.
