does maxmsp support via chips?

March 8, 2009 | 2:21 pm

i remember a rant about max not running on umpc’s like Q1. there is no mention in the cycling74 site but it was confirmed PACE anti-pirecy protection only works on specific platforms. is that still/is so?
will it support an Onboard VIA EDEN/C7 CPU

I actually emailed them yesterday and asked "what can I do for a temporary solution or a workaround until it works on my Transmeta machine"? This is the response I got:

Hello Casey,

InterLok protected software must be run on a machine which is either Intel or
AMD processor based.

We would recommend the use of an Intel or AMD processor based system to
resolve this matter for you.
