I've looked around the forums and the web and it seems that logic can send or receive audio with MSP via soundflower. So I tried to do the same with DP6 but couldn't get it to work. I even tried the aggregate driver but still unable to send or receive with DP6.

I confirmed that I could get SoundFlower working by sending iTunes to MSP with no issues.

Has anyone been able to send DP6 audio to MSP? vice versa? If so I would appreciate you sharing how you were able to do that.

I'm using an Intel Mac with PCI424 card and the 2408 with DP 6.02

I did actually get this to work. I found the solution in a 2004 posting in this forum. I should have looked at the older posts.

The solution is that in DP you need to command select both the pci424 driver and soundflower. Plus set the hosts multiplier to 2.

In the dsp settings in msp you can select both the input device and input source - one can be the pci424 and the other soundflower.

So while it works its not really optimal. To try and avoid distortion the buffer settings have to be very high, so latency is a real problem.
