dumping JSON to File OR http

June 6, 2008 | 8:42 am

is there an easy way to dump/read an object to/from a file in JSON format, without iterating through the entire object and using File#writeline/readline ?

alternately (actually even preferably), is there an HTTP Library for js that will allow me to do GET PUT and DELETE requests for sending and receiving JSON data? For my other development work I’ve been playing around with CouchDB recently, an HTTP/REST-based JSON store and am quite liking it so far.
