dynamically resize a buffer

January 17, 2010 | 9:36 pm

I know that there has been a threat about this subject before but I don’t find the right patcher by myself.
Can anyone help me with the problem to record live with filters or whatever and to use this recorded sound again immediately to do another shaping or modulation on it?
I think I have to work with a buffer which can be dynamically resized and I just don’t know how to do that.
I also looked for the recbuffer~ object which was described in a former threat and couldn’t find it.
Thanx so much for your help.

Cheers
Peer

I just threw this together, of course buffer~ can be dynamically resized, you may want to use signals rather than floats:
