EasyCap into Jitter

Hello!
Any experience feeding a cam through EasyCap to Jitter in Mac?

I need to get high quality video through USB from a camera with optical zoom. Didn’t find any webcam for mac with optical zoom for the moment.

Thanks!

Bought an EasyCap and couldn’t get it to work. Turns out that to work on a Mac you need an EasyCapX. And turns out, no refunds on the one I bought. Buyer beware. I was so P’ed off that I haven’t touched it since.

I take it you’re using videoglide? http://www.echofx.com/videoglide.html If I remember right you need the Easycap DC 60+ and not just DC 60 (but I might be wrong – I have mine running on a PC with the default drivers in win7)

Ah, yes. That was it. 60+, as opposed to 60 (stupid plus sign). < --- still bitter.

Thank you guys! I just found the VideoGlide software which seems to be the right thing to make this work on Mac. Bferns, are you running the EasyCap and VideoGlide and feeding directly into Jitter with no problem?
Cap1′Subtext, I also found that there are a few other devices to capture on Mac, more expensive though.
I just write to the VideoGlide people to see what they think…
