Normally, every time I open a patch it goes to the top of the Open Recent menu.

However, if I open a patch by selecting it from the Open Recent menu, it does not go to the top. Can that behavior be made consistent? No matter how I open a patch it should go to the top of the list.

When I’m working with a lot of patches I close the ones I don’t need at the moment and rely on the Open Recent menu to get back to them. It’s disorienting that the recent list isn’t ordered as expected in this case.

Thanks.

Thanks for pointing this out. The current behavior is not consistent with the standard Recent Items menu behavior. This will be fixed for the next update.

On a similar note, is there a way to have Max Open windows be context
sensitive? My audio files are in a different place than my Max files,
yet Replace->Buffer’s dialog shares the same most-recent-folder as
File-> Open’s.

A minor pet peeve, but one I hit constantly.
