Hi all,

I’m looking for a way to use a live-input, low-frequency sound to trigger a MIDI clip to start playing. Then, after this MIDI clip has looped for a while, I’d like to use the sound of a person saying “Shhhh!” to stop the MIDI clip.

I’ve set up two audio tracks with input coming from my laptop’s built-in microphone. The first of these tracks is filtering out all high and mid frequencies and the second track is filtering out all the lows/mids. I have a M4L Envelope follower at the end of the effect-chain on each of these tracks. I’m hoping to use the Envelope Followers to start and stop, respectively, the MIDI clip (which is triggering sounds in a Drum Rack). Anyone have some insight?

-Zachary
