Erase Color Trails Not Working

Hello,

I’m trying to implement the background alpha trails as demonstrated in Tutorial 33 of the Jitter Tutorials (see “Erase Color and Trails” section). Though I have successfully completed the tutorial on a computer at Uni, I cannot seem to make the trails appear in either my own patch or the tutorial patch on my own system at home. I don’t quite know what I’m doing wrong, would having a 64-bit system rather than 32 have anything to do with it?

Same issue here “Jitter Tutorial 33″: no trails in *jit.pwindow*, no reaction to erase_color alpha channel. The problem doesn’t occur when rendering to jit.window.

hello. thanks for the report.
i can confirm jit.pwindow @erase_color alpha is not working as expected.
we’ll look into it.
