while drawing gl to jit.window, my patches (or others, such as those
pasted from this mailing list) will not erase at all, acting much like
“erase_color f f f 0.”

Once I resize the window this usually goes away, but may reappear suddenly.
Any idea what’s going on here?

Unfortunately, like I (tried to) explain, it’s an intermittent problem,
and can occur with several patches, including ones from the list here. I
have no real pattern of reproduction, hence my rather broad question as
to what “might be going on”, so to speak.

If I find a way to reproduce I will of course post a patch,
