I'm wondering if anyone has written a patch that they'd be willing to share that sends messages to an ETC Congo Console? The karmic rewards for such kind action are too numerous to begin even listing!

Try www.lanbox.com, dmx in/out from/to Congo. Lanbox has a bunch of 

max patches to send and receive dmx data. I don't think it handles 

the artnet protocol, it does seem to handle these ethernet protocols 

(according to the specs) : Avab protocols, ETCNet2, ACN Draft 2.0. No
