.exe errors between Windows XP and Windows 7

Hello =)

I have a patch which works well on Windows XP (.exe works too) Here you have a .maxpat version :

– Pasted Max Patch, click to expand. –

When I try to make it work on Windows 7, there are some problems with audio drivers and output device. The famous ad_direct sound “stopping due to error” and the sound tries to get ON in the DSP Status but goes back to OFF.

Is there a way to force the output device in DSP status ?

What are the problems between XP and 7 when an application is launched on the same version of Max on the 2 systems ?

Thanks for your advice,

Have a nice day,

Mathieu

Sounds like it might be a sound driver issue. I have you checked
if there is a Win7 version of you audio driver? Or maybe something
else using the audio driver?

You mean a windows 7 version of ad_mme or ad_directsound or a windows 7 version of my soundcard driver ?
