I’m on Windows XP SP3, running Max 5.1.2. When I open the help window and change the window’s size, each time the size changes by so much as a single pixel, the help window blanks and redraws its entire content. The effect is that the window flickers while being resized.

I have mentioned this oddity to Cycling’74 support and they say they are unable to reproduce it on any of their machines. Nevertheless, it happens both on my laptop and my desktop, even though these machines have graphics cards by two different manufacturers. Moreover, other applications, such as web browsers, do not behave this way.

So what I would like to know is whether anyone else out there is experiencing the same phenomenon, and, if so, whether anyone has found what is causing it.
