Fader Wet/Dry Problem… Adding reverb.

Hi.

I’m trying to create a drum machine in max, with reverb.
I’ve got my drum wav playing and I’m using the reverb from one of the examples.

I’ve managed to hook my wav upto the reverb. The problem I have is with the fader. When I turn the fader up, nothing happens until the fader has moved more than 3 quarters of the way, then it adds the reverb -it is acting more like an on/off switch rather than a gradual increase in reverb.

How do I make the fader work so that when I turn it up, it gradually adds the reverb to the sample?

I’ve added my patch:

You might not want the exponential response of the gain~ slider for verb send.

I wasn’t exactly sure what you had going on in the patch so I changed it a bit…
