Fading control AC lighting interface question.

Hello.

I'd like to fade in/out simple incandescent lighting control from MAXMSP.
I was thinking Arduino signal from sensor to control dimming, but I changed max/msp control to dimming.
so, I have velleman K8064 DC control AC dimmer (voltage based dimmer) to connect AC lighting.

Is there any other way to dimming control lightings with maxmsp not through Arduino?
any other hardware interface?

there might be a way through DMX or MIDI, not sure. Certainly is possible but I don't know the specs or cost...

Thanks for the link Jesse.
Do I need DMXUSB PRO to connect DMX-4 for controlling from Max?
Hopefully someone helps me the simplest and cheapest way for MAX controls AC commercial lighting.
Thanks

from what I know the cheapest solution is with arduino. Why don't you go with that?

If you want cheap, go with the arduino.

If you want simple, the Enttec DMX USB Pro is your best bet. I have used this with the DMX-4 and it works well.
