feature request: zoom patcher

April 17, 2006 | 2:52 pm

ever used Plogue’s Bidule? for me, using very high resolution displays, a zoom feature with any additional embellishments, would be my top request for a future release. it would be helpful in instances where enlarging the font, is not, for example.
thanks!

In OSX, you can turn on zoom in Universal Access in the System
Preferences. Hotkeys are Command-option-8 for on/off, and
Command-option – or = to zoom out/in.

If you are on the Mac, zoom is built into the OS.

apple+option+8 = zoom on/off
apple+option+plus = zoom in
apple+option+minus = zoom out

Meant for seeing impaired, but makes for a handy teaching tool. I
use it practically every class.

thanks… i’m on PC, though. i’ve tried practically every free- and shareware magnifier i could find but they either are too CPU-heavy or lack certain desirable features that make then unwieldy or useless for this application.
