feedback loop

December 9, 2006 | 5:17 pm

If I’m doing a feedback loop to continually add a matrix to itself
while moving to the right with jit.rota, do I need use jit.split to
insure it doesn’t get too big in data size or for any other reason,
or is this totally fine as it is?

#P window setfont "Sans Serif" 9.;
#P window linecount 1;
#P newex 66 84 64 196617 jit.op @op +;
#P user jit.pwindow 65 148 162 122 0 1 0 0 1 0;
#P newex 134 116 101 196617 jit.rota @offset_x 1;
#P comment 65 53 126 196617 some matrix goes in the op;
#P fasten 1 0 3 1 139 139 264 139 264 76 125 76;
#P connect 3 0 2 0;
#P fasten 3 0 1 0 71 106 139 106;
#P window clipboard copycount 4;

The mini patch you poasted won’t change anything about the dimension
of the data, so no you don’t need to worry about that.
