filtergraph problems (w/ "selectfilter" – message)

hi

unfortunately I get some unexpected behaviour of filtergraph (in
combination with the “selectfilter” – message)

I would like to build a multiband eq using filtergraph and cascade
objects.
therefor it would be very usefull to set the filter coefficients
(meaning freq, gain, Q, type) from outside,
which works fine when I use the mouse to select a filter, unfortunately
not when I select a filter with the “selectfilter” message.

maybe anybody knows how to do it properly, or is it just a bug?

hi noid,

use “whichfilt” instead of “selectfilt” or use
params
to set individual filter coeffs directly (this doesn’t change type
though).

best, g.

hi,

thanks – “whichfilt” working well!

still don’t understand what’s the problem with select – but, anyway…
