Filtering Messages Dynamically?

March 8, 2014 | 11:26 am

Hi,

Im trying to prevent feedback in a patch. I am trying to filter outgoing messages, based on incoming messages. I have put together the following patch to describe, which works statically (using a gate). Is there a way to do this dynamically, using javascript to store the IDs that should be gated, or another way? Using route is not an option, because of the dynamic nature and slight (unknown) delay between messages in and out. Im guessing I need to create an acceptable delay (say 50ms), but Im stuck on how to delay specific messages for a dynamic amount of inputs/outputs. Maybe storing them in a coll and deleting them after 50ms? But then, how can I use the coll to block the outgoing messages collected in the coll?

no worries, I fixed it by dynamically creating objects through JS. How awesome!
