I am creating a patch that uses a four voice poly to send MIDI note and velocity data over UDP to 4 other MAX patches in maxforlive.

Anyhow I am using gate so that all incoming notes are filtered except for the FIRST voice from poly. I want the other three voices to be silent because they get picked up buy the other three max patchers elsewhere.

I am getting stuck notes I believe because gate is filtering the note offs.

Any ideas? I really want to use poly to send it's round robin voice allocation (with stealing) to other patchers but I can't get it to work. If only I could get around this stuck notes problem... but maybe I'm going about this the wrong way. Help me!
