First time jitter patch… feedback appreciated.

Hello all,

I’ve only been patching for a few months and have only been messing with jitter for a week or so.

That said, here’s my first jitter patch. I appreciate any feedback/criticism you all may have.

The goal was to create a video mixer with a simple-ish interface so that a buddy of mine can improvise video accompaniment for musical improvisations.

It’s all setup to be controlled by two korg nano-kontrols (one in scene 1, one in scene 2) and a device running c74.

You’ll probably noticed I’ve stolen bits here and there from help files, but why reinvent the wheel, right?

Looking forward to your comments.

Looks great to me! You might want to search “vade´s optimization” in this forum, or have a look at vade´s website

http://abstrakt.vade.info/?p=147

these are techniques to display videos using OpenGL (the graphic card instead of the CPU) which resultos in faster fps than “normal” jitter videos based on matrices
