fit a random number to a scale

what is the best way fit a random number to a scale using the table object. I was looking at darwins qs.scalifier, but I cant find the right way. any suggestions?

I don’t think I understand what you mean by:
"fit a random number to a scale". Do you mean
using a random number to select a pitch from
a table?

sorry for my bad english :)
thats what im trying to do. i want to use a random number to select a note from the table object.

There is also an object called scale…
