I am using jit.vcr to record audio/video to disk recorded direct from jit.grab and the mic input... basically, a video booth.

I'm getting scratchy audio distortion after recording about 3 videos (about 30s of video in total). I'm trying out different codecs at different qualities and image sizes. Nothing I do seems to give me a clean recording. Can anyone suggest a solution or an alternative way to record audio and video together to disk? (even a non-MaxMSP solution, as long as I can program a simple interactive video recorder behaviour - e.g., open frameworks?).

Space bar starts and stops recording, each new recording gets saved as a different file in the movies folder.

Quick update... for some reason my signal vector size has been set to 1 for the past week or so. Not a very sensible number! Hopefully this was the cause of the problem. It seems to be OK now.
