FLAC reader / writer for Max
I’m looking for a Max external that read and save audio file in FLAC file format ( http://flac.sourceforge.net ), for both OSX and XP.
I just would be sure that it doesn’t exist before start writing it in C.

i don’t know about any readymade externals, but
on osx one easy solution is to call the flac command-line prog with
the [shell] object.
this works quite nicely.
i guess there is something similar on win.
then again, this might not be the answer you were looking for.
it sounds really interesting. I’ll look into the code…
thank you so much

finally I released the flac reader for Max, free downlodable from:
Windows version will be available very soon.
anyone know if a flac windows version exists?
buffer can import and export flac.
