FreeFrame Test

April 19, 2006 | 3:49 pm

Here’s a simple freeframe testing patch.
Mac Users should place their effects in the folder recommended in the documentation.

Since Jitter expects ARGB and Freeframe is natively RGBA, you get some weirdness with certain effects. They’ll appear "blue" or "yellow" because of the plane shift. There are two toggles for rotating the input and output plane order. Sometimes you have to do both.

This is a bug on Windows which will be fixed in the next Jitter release.

That’s great.
I posted this on VJforums so that hopefully plugin developers will give Jitter a test when they’re developing. It should work out some of the bugs in the plugins themselves. Getting their input will allow me to present a better explanation of the issues I’ve been having with some commercial plugins.
