Ive been messing with floating fsaa and depthbuffer settings on my gl window, it seems like with the fsaa on feedback doesn’t work, and sometimes alpha controll of objects doesn’t work. also sometimes it seems like floating turns on the fsaa. Is there a way to get smooth renders with feedback?

yeah, render to texture and slabs. really, its the best option
because you get

a) blendmodes
b) smoothing/sharpening on the feedback should you want it
c) less than or greater than one ‘fading’ for extremes.

note however that FSAA and doesnt work on shader output, because
shaders handle their own pipeline, afaik. If you have geometry you
are rendering to texture it will work, but on textures/video, you
have to antialias it yourself (found this out the hard way :) )

hm, without a patch, im not sure we can diagnose. but it ought to
work (in theory) with render to texture

hehe thanks vade! Ill try that out. It would be tough to post the patch cause its got way too many bpatchers, but I could make a simple example patch, Ill test out your technique and then see if that works better.
