Fullscreen close patch bug

March 8, 2006 | 1:24 am

Hi,
This is an informal bug report, but it’s really easy to reproduce.

1) open jit.window help file
2) toggle fsmenubar attribute to be off
3) enter fullscreen mode
4) while in fullscreen mode, hit apple+` to pull up the patch window
on top of the jit.window in fullscreen
5) close the patch

The result is that you will have no max menubar as well as no patcher open.

latest jitter 1.5.2/max latest
osx 10.4.5 pb 1.67

Hello,

I’ve encountered that same kind of problem on Max 5.0.5 (MacBook Pro 2.4, OS 10.5.5.

Max has to be rebooted if the patch is closed while jit.window @fsmenubar 0 @fullscreen 1, since the menu bar stays hidden.

Is this on the board to be fixed, or do I have to get a little bit more careful – the latter being possible, after all?

Best regards,

Zoe L.

Wow, that’s an ancient post. Bottom line is yes, you have to be careful.
