fullscreen in a mac

January 25, 2007 | 1:48 pm

I can’t get the top mac menu or dock to go away when I run my jitter video window fullscreen, instead they’re laid over the image. Also, is there a way to make the fullscreen mode add "widescreen" or "narrowscreen" black bars (ie. not stretch the image to a different ratio), or do I have to manually add those into the image itself? Thanks.

send a "fsmenubar 0" to the jit.window and menu wil go

you have to add the bars yourself
maybe make a subpatcher with black bgcolor and send "fullscreen 1" to
a thispatcher
then send "front" to a jit.window

all menubars and dock’s are gone

like this

#P button 222 217 15 0;
#P window setfont "Sans Serif" 9.;
#P window linecount 1;
#P newex 162 240 49 196617 delay 10;
#P button 125 252 15 0;
#P message 120 280 183 196617 rect 20 230 600 430 , border 0 , front;
#P newex 121 311 58 196617 jit.window;
#P message 282 193 70 196617 fullscreen $1;
#P toggle 282 162 15 0;
#N thispatcher;
#Q end;
#P newobj 282 250 61 196617 thispatcher;
#P newex 20 45 106 196617 bgcolor 100 100 100;
#P newex 282 127 44 196617 sel 102;
#P newex 282 97 40 196617 key;
#P window linecount 2;
#P comment 340 103 100 196617 press f to full and back;
#P connect 6 0 11 0;
#P connect 6 0 4 0;
#P connect 10 0 9 0;
#P connect 11 0 10 0;
#P connect 5 0 6 0;
#P connect 9 0 8 0;
#P connect 2 0 5 0;
#P connect 1 0 2 0;
#P connect 8 0 7 0;
#P window clipboard copycount 12;

some how it only works with the delay in it…

strange …
