GPS + MAX integration

Hi

I’m looking for information on how to integrate GPS devices with
MAX-MSP -
are there converters / patches which exist to make the linkage? Is
there available
documentation on this integration?

Any help would be most welcome!

Cheers

have a look at “soup”: it’s a kismet-to-osc bridge, allowing you to access gps
data through a network link.

some serial port, as described in :

http://www.garmin.hu/data/gps18_technicalspecification.pdf

the patch is too big to be sent to the list. it can be found at

This might be a person to talk to as he built a pd external to interface GPS
with PD

The following describes an interesting project how GPS was used

Hope this helps
