I wonder if there's a solution to catch in Max the cursor position when max is not the front app.

I would like to drag and drop files from the finder in a dropfile object and catch the position where they are dropped but I've got bad results with mousestate.

what do you mean by "bad results" ? Here mousestate sends the same infos wherever Max is ...

Oh, yes, I was pooling mousestate with "hover" witch needs it's parent patcher to be the front most window.
