Grab loop from Jit.qt.grab ?

July 21, 2008 | 1:56 pm

Hi

please someone can suggest me how I can grab a loop from an external DV?

I mean, my idea is to make a click and start recording, another click stop recording and then that video should be loaded immediately in video out.

Or something that let me grab and set loop point from an external source

I remember that there was an example in jitter with a car crash that was possible to move the loop point with slider. But was from videos. Someone knows/remember please?

Best

Filippo

jit.matrixset will let you store frames of video in a buffer for looping, scratching etc.

Yea thanks,

I’ve tryed using the jit.matrixset but probably I’m too noob to use it as I want!

other suggestion?

I just want to grab some video from an external cam, then "automatically" or easily load that grabbed video to a jit.qt object to be played in loop

best

Thanks

I’ve seen that patch, but I can’t arrive to open it!

If I copy and paste the text to a new text patch and then open it, it just open as a text, if I put

max v2;
#N vpatcher 8 49 1438 754;
#P origin 9 0;

@ the begin of the patch, it just don’t work. Nothing happens.

I use Max 4.5 and Jitter 1.2.3

Where I’m wrong?

Actually there’s something I can’t understand, some text patch open some others don’t.
