hello.
i have a network camera AXIS 2100.
i can see the video with firefox at that url : ‘http://172.21.1.200/cgi-bin/video640x480.mjpg’
but i’d like to grab this video in max.
as i’m in pc, i use the jit.dx.grab, but it doesn’t appear in the ‘vdevlist’… so if you know how to do this… thanks.

you might be able to use jit.qt.movie for that. Some of these cameras
also output still images, which definitely work, but do not give you
a highframerate as you have to poll the camera at intervals. Cycling
provides a java image downloader to jit.matrix output code in the
examples folder, and you can use that, or you can search for my
security camera player on the list – which has some modified code
(probably very buggy), that works with some pan/tilt/zoom web based
cameras.
