I have a .net program that copies some text from a website into the clipboard, and I'd like to grab that text in Max and print it. I've found a lot of tutorials online that let you get the clipboard contents through javascript, but they are all in the context of web forms and I can't figure out how to make it work in Max. Anybody done this kind of stuff before?

I don't think it's possible to do that in JavaScript (in Max) because 

you can't call any system function. You can do that easily using Java

I don't think it's possible to do that in JavaScript (in Max) because  
you can't call any system function. You can do that easily using Java

I think the patch you posted there requires a jar file. It sounds like it used to be attached to your post, but I can't find it anywhere.

What if I did it a different way and updated a txt file with the text I wanted to copy. Is there a way to load in the content of txt files as symbols?
