a few remarks to improve your chances of a solution:

Where exactly do you wish to apply the envelope? At the master-output of the main patch or within the subpatch? When you post a poly patch plus a subpatch you need to clarify what the connections are, as copying and pasting breaks these connections. Also, some of your messages to poly are incomplete: there are a few $3 and $4 variables with no apparent sources.

One other thing: this looks like an old patch of mine - I am now aware that phasor~ --> delta~ --> sah~ 0 is preferable to phasor~ --> sah~ 0.99.

thanks for the reply. the patch could be yours, I just followed a tutorial on youtube. I just need a granular synth for a jitter uni project. Connecting the envelope to the master output should be enough. It's a nice synth you built
