I thought its about the precision of loop points. If I set the loop
duration between samples it would interpolate them.

This seems not to be the case.

I wanted to use very short loop lengths which result in a pitch. In the
upper range the pitch is out of tune. No matter if I switch on or off
loopinterp.

a stripped down version shows the problem, if I use play~ instead, the
pitch is correct of course, but that leads to other problems when I
change the pitch/playback speed…

The question is: is loopinterp for groove~ working and what is it
supposed to do, or is this just a bug in groove~?…
