April 28, 2009 | 8:16 pm

hi all,

i’d like to ask you for help on making a reverse delay in max5… I’ve been trying to get groove and record "in sync" using the snapshots and then using line~ to play back, but without succes. Any help is more than appreciated!
thanks,

could you post an example patch roman? not sure how to connect these two objects to create a reverse delay.

i’ve created a beat repeat effect using poke~ and groove~, and groove~ can given a negative playback speed for a type of reverse delay. here’s the patch. the subdiv~ and beats subpatcher just calculate the MS value for a given subdivision, or a given number of quarternotes.

CinC:

"1000 500 0 0"
line~
tapout~ 1000

then make 2 or more and construct some windowing.
