thanks to MIB for help with the timer function in attached patch, however i'm still struggling to find a way to stop it! (it starts as soon as the eq is adjusted). Any help?

I'd use mousestate-- clocker only gets turned on and off when cursor is in graphic region; but maybe there's another easier way...

thanks DEvo. your attached patch is much appreciated, but is there a way to keep the timer going continuously as in my original patch> All i need is a way to manually stop the timer.

If you send the stop message to clocker it will stop.
