I want to make a visual/audio based installation, where music is created by the way the audience act in front of a camera. That part I figured out!

The thing that I want to add to this project, is that the video and audio is not being 'projected' in a normal way.

I want the videofile, and the musicfile to be projected as binary numbers.

I've figured out how to convert a file into binary using the terminal on a mac computer.

Is it possible to convert audio and video files to binary in real time?
