Help with Custom LFO controlling Groove~ Playback

Hi There,
I am building patch to control the groove~ object in new ways. Problem lies in the playback sounds bit crushed and sped up at times. I plugged the output of the LFO through a snapshot object (see attachment comments in patcher) and it worked a bit better but I would like to use the msp lines if possible.

Second less pressing issue is why isn't the playback sample accurate - meaning, if I have a loop going it is slightly different each time....

Thanks, please respond with questions if things are unclear. Much appreciated!

Best,
-M

You're going to have to keep things in the audio-rate domain if you want sample accuracy.

Obviously, if you're doing any waveform mixing and the resulting waveform has a different frequency than what you use for unity playback, it's going to sound sped up or slowed down. Ditto if the waveform isn't a ramp - it's going to sound different.

Post a sample patch that describes your problem. You'll get more useful feedback, I expect.

hi gregory,
i have an attached patch. Is that what your referring to?
Thanks for your time.

and yes, I do realize for sample accuracy i need to keep those yellow patch cords flowing ;)

this may be a more straight forward question
when one plugs in a signal to groove inlet loop start / endpoint why does the pitch shift and or ring modulate? I am looking to simply change a samples loop start points and length with a signal line without affecting the waveforms pitch
any suggestions would be welcome
