Hey hoping someone could help me with a project I'm doing, i know there are other forums but struggling to understand things and pretty new at this stuff. Basically I've built a theremin using an arduino + ultrasonic sensor, I've got the data all smoothed coming through maxuino and i'm happy with it in my max patch, what I want to do now is control pitch of a vst through ableton live 9 just using my computer keyboard and control parameters of that pitch with my arduino sensor using re-wire (I know of max 4 live but found it to be a headache). Could someone explain to me what steps and objects I need to take in my patch and what I need to do in Ableton Live so that I would be able to do this, I will be using re-wire to do this so my understanding of it is very limited.

Using 2012 MacBook Pro, with Max 6 and Ableton 9.

Hugely appreciate any help, its for an assessment that is due very soon. Excuse my ignorance couldn't find exactly the information I need elsewhere.
