hiding scroll bars in patchers…gui question

May 3, 2006 | 1:43 pm

hi all

I’m building the user interface for my patch, and I’d like to open a smaller window on startup, but with the scroll bars at the bottom and side hidden, as in the .help files. any suggestions? I can’t find anything in [thispatcher] that would let me do it. I don’t want to build it into a maxc because then I can’t unlock it… :/

anyone happen to know anything I could do?

thanks a lot

In the thispatcher help file there’s a subpatch called "patcher
windowMessages".
It’s in there.
Sending the message "window flags nogrow, window exec" to thispatcher
makes the scrollbars disappear, at least on my Mac.
