high definition audio

hi everybody and happy new year!

I try to find information on high definition audio support but inside the MSP documentation there does not seem to be anything.
Where are we with hd audio in MSP?

As far as I know you can work with 192 kHz sampling rate. Is that high
definition enough? I also can’t imagine higher definition than 32-bit
floating point…
(64-bit float is beyond my imagination and for sure beyond my ears,
certainly not worth the memory it would eat…)

It boils down to: not a matter of MSP (and never has been), but of your
hardware…

Just a minor correction: the need for 64bit, if it exists, is just in the software, not in the audio hardware itself.
