hints for building a declicker

July 22, 2008 | 10:39 am

I’m looking for hints to build a declicker or a transient smoother/sharpener.

Any help welcome.

It won’t help with the "sharpener" bit, but start with low-pass filters. The transient is like a momentary, high-frequency change in the sound.

I assume because you are on this list you are looking to develop an external. Any reason [slide~] won’t do what you want? If not, at least look at the help file as it contains the formula they use.

Have you looked at tap.anticlick~ in the TapTools? A look at the help
file would probably give you some hints.

Thanks for the info. I’ve downloaded the TAp.Tools demo and I’ll give it a try.

Slide~ does work pretty well on clicks indeed.
Thanks for the hint.
