Has or is anyone doing a similar thing?

Hi,

I’m working with a lighting engineer on something similar.
A kind of curve editor (java within max) for DMX control,
those curve are generated/modulated by sound analysis (pitch tracking,
filters, mapping…), sensors…
coming from another station making the sound, from LAN/WAN…
Applying sound concepts to lighting control.

For now it’s in development, we’re testing different approaches on
different projects/concerts,
we want to avoid "nightclub" effects like flash on peaks (no offense to
nightclubbers)
so experimenting is the rule.
