Hi all. I just made a patch that creates a coll with all path Ids and names for tracks, devices, and parameters in a live set: it means that mid-gig I don’t need to query live for these values: they are all read in and stored in a coll as part of setting up.

I can use this coll from many max devices, but as I understand it it is very inefficient and it would be better to use a “–abcd” name which is only shared within one Mm4L device. I could do that, and move all functionality that requires this coll into the same M4L device.

Is that going to make a big difference to the performance?

Thanks!
