How can I see what point of a waveform is playing with Groove~? I want to create a real time graphic representation of where in the buffer the current audio is coming from.

I imagined this would just be seeing the cursor move as the file is played. I thought it would be simple, but the the strategy I have chosen to have the sample play, I can't make it work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
