i dont know wheter it makes sense or not: 

i try to send the video, i cre8ed in open gl (more precisely with the jit.gl.text2d object), into an inlet of jit.alphablend. because i work with text, i feel that i have more possabilities with openGL than with, for example, jit.lcd. 

and because i want to overlay a mask over the text, i want to use the alphablendobject.

via videoplane i can use jit.qt.movie in opengl, but how it works the opposite directon. from openGL to qt.movie?

To blend jit.gl.text2d with a max you can either render it to a

texture and use a shader or use jit.gl.videoplane with an alpha

Hi,
To blend jit.gl.text2d with a max you can either render it to a
texture and use a shader or use jit.gl.videoplane with an alpha
masking texture as an overlay.  Using a matrix based compositor like
jit.alphablend doesn't make sense here.
