I have a patch that plays chords (a blues sequence). For now, the chords are in root position but I would like them to play other then root position. I could write out all the chords but I was wondering if there is a simpler (automated) way to change the position of a chord.

You can simply take the bottom note of the chord and add 12, this becomes the next position. Do it pre-transposition if you have a transpose option.
