Hi. I am not so much new o max, as I have built (with the help of a teacher) a patch, one year ago. But right now, I can't remember some basics, but I do get the grasp quick.

How do I unlock the patch? How do I make the toolbar visible? I know there is a key for it but I don't find anything on the menu..

Do anyone recommend any "cheat sheet" or a few pages pdf with the most used keyboard shortcuts, references and such?

Edit from the View menu (command + E, assuming you're on a macintosh).

I really recommend the tutorials, there's plenty of interesting stuff 

in it. Most of the patch editing shortcuts are in the Tips patch you

I really recommend the tutorials, there's plenty of interesting stuff  
in it. Most of the patch editing shortcuts are in the Tips patch you  
can access from the Extras menu.

or command + click i would imagine on a mac.

There's a manual that comes with Max called "Fundamentals."

Everything you've asked so far is in there, and some stuff you haven't asked about yet. I'd look there.
